Food Systems Development and Agriculture:

Because food is a human right, we champion the fight against food insecurity through intentional support of entrepeneurship of local growers, farmers, and producers.

Grow Initiative GA aims to participate in key community programs to address food poverty and access by implementing programming such as Georgia Fresh for Less, Food For Health Prescription Programs, SNAP Connection Programming, and Plant to Plate.

Connection to Resources

We establish and maintain a sustainable local food system, including a regular farmers market and mobile market.

Community Connections

We assist local growers and producers with the tools and resources needed to develop their agricultural businesses.

Community Connections

We connect growers with the community and local businesses through an aggregation system to facilitate the sale of their products.

Growing Food at Home

We help families decrease food waste and reengage with growing food at home and farming through gardening education and the ability to sell or trade their extra produce and food products.
