Through Strategic Person-Centered Approach.

OUR MISSION

GROW Initiative GA is dedicated to improving the lives of underserved, low-wealth, and marginalized individuals by promoting community engagement, equity, and access to essential resources in education, health and nutrition, and overall well-being. Our mission is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to lead a healthy, fulfilling life, regardless of their socio-economic status or background. We value inclusivity, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration, working tirelessly to foster a sense of belonging and empowerment within the communities we serve. Through innovative programs and strategic partnerships, we aim to create sustainable change and build stronger, more resilient communities.

Education Initiatives

We believe that education is a key pillar in GROWing communities.

We recognize how education impacts our community and have established community partnerships to provide essential programming for adult English-Learners, families of students with disabilities, and disadvantaged children in our community .

 Health & Nutrition Initiatives

We work with local communities  and organizations to provide equitable, culturally-relevant, and linguistically-inclusive health and nutrition workshops, state benefit drives, and assist in connecting residents with local resources.

We also assist individuals that need assistance in filling out forms for medicaid, Katie Beckett, and more.

Community Engagement & Development

We firmly belief that by addressing the root causes in the challenges that our communities face, we give our communities the best chance for resiliency.

Our data-driven strategies assist in bridging the gap for multi-cultural and multi-lisguistic communities, disadvantaged individuals and organizations interested in reaching the community at large.

Access to Locally Sourced Food

GROW believes that access to fresh food is a human right. To that end, we work with the community to establish community farmers’ markets by nurturing local growers and producers. We recognize that many local families do not have access to fresh produce and we also recognize the importance of GROWing our own local and sustainable food system.

We believe in the old proverb, “Give a man a fish and you feed them for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed them for a lifetime.”

That’s also why we work with individuals that are interested in starting their own business in selling their farm products or prepared foods. Whether a person is interested in learning how to do a backyard garden, or an experienced gardener wants to build their own LLC, we’re here to help.
