Education
We pride ourselves in our commitment to furthering access to education to parents and family members of individuals with disabilities, individuals learning English as a second language, and children by supporting the use and knowledge of research-based initiatives and strategies that foster knowledge, literacy acquisition and inclusivity.
Adult English Classes
Our community partnerships enable us to provide adult English-learners with access to meaningful classes to increase their literacy and language acquisition skills.
Special Education & Disability Resources
Families with children and adults with disabilities face exceptional challenges in finding services for their loved ones and in gaining knowledge that increases their loved one’s ability to work, play, learn, shop, and thrive in the community they live in. Our services include:
- IDEA Parent-training
- IEP & 504 Meeting preparation & document review
- Community Trainings & Resource Referral
Children’s Literacy
Our collaboration with local schools and community organizations to identify literacy gaps in children is crucial for fostering a strong educational foundation. By engaging with these groups, we can better understand the unique challenges faced by students and work together to develop targeted interventions. This partnership allows for the pooling of resources, expertise, and community insight, creating a comprehensive approach to addressing literacy gaps. Together, we can support children in acquiring the essential reading and writing skills needed for academic success and lifelong learning.
